Philosophy Forum

The Unitarian Philosophy Forum was started in September 2002. Since then it has discussed many matters of philosophical and theological importance and debated contemporary issues in science.

The first year covered course material by noted Unitarian-Univeralist scholar, Richard S. Gilbert in "Building Your Own Theology".

In more recent years, the Philosophy Forum has conducted a course in Formal Philosophy alongside a study of contemporary scientific discussion concerning creationism, intelligent design and evolution. This was introduced with a four part series on the Trial and Death of Socrates.

The Philosophy Forum meets on the first Sunday of the month in the Church conference room.
